The Ansuz PowerSwitch D3 is the second-highest-end model in Ansuz's latest generation ( D -series) speaker network switch series, second only to the top-of-the-line D-TC Supreme.
It pushes many of Ansuz's core technologies to the extreme, featuring extremely low noise, ultra-black background, and natural musicality, and is designed specifically for top-of-the-line streaming audio systems.

Ansuz PowerSwitch D3 Technical Analysis

1. Extensive Active Tesla Coils : The D3 utilizes multiple Tesla coil modules, significantly denser than the D2. This actively generates pulses of opposite polarity to EMI to cancel high-frequency noise within the system, effectively reducing ground noise and common-mode interference between devices.

2. Third-generation Analog Dither Technology: Utilizing special micro-vibration pulses, it stabilizes digital signal timing and jitter , improving signal "precision" for more stable sound and less image fluctuation. The D3 is one of the first switches to incorporate the third-generation Dither circuitry.

3. Zirconium Anti-Aerial Resonance: Utilizing natural zirconium as a vibration damping and anti-resonance material, it is applied to the Switch's casing and base. Zirconium absorbs subtle high-frequency mechanical vibrations and air vibrations, preventing sound coloration. This is a technology that Ansuz has highly promoted in recent years and has also incorporated into their Darkz padding.

4. Base Design and Vibration Control • The D3 uses Titanium Darkz grounding points to provide high-density resonance output. The specially designed aluminum alloy chassis is thicker and quieter than the D2. Sound Performance: Extremely natural sound signature, black background, strong openness, rich airiness and high-frequency overtones. Excellent micro-dynamics, refined and transparent sound, retaining detail even at low volumes. The sound space is three-dimensional and layered, with excellent soundstage depth and positioning, suitable for large systems. Overall impression: effortless listening; the sound is not "forced," but rather flowing, organic, and natural.

The Ansuz PowerSwitch D3 has been upgraded with the latest Ansuz technologies, such as a Zirconium Tesla coil for better resonance control and a third-generation dithering circuit, further improving sound imaging and delivering a spacious and clear sound.

Ansuz Active Tesla Coil technology (A-TC)
This is an active noise suppressing element that rely on Mains spike noise cancellation. The way they work is to have a double inverted coil connected to the power conductors, when the A-TC dual coil encounters a voltage spike a counter spike is developed in the counter wound section of the A-TC coil. As Noise spikes are pure voltage and carries virtually no charge, the cancellation is quite good but not a 100%. By adding more A-TC coils in parallel the performance increases. And with that the perceived Blackness in the music improves significantly. The active version is about three to four times more efficient then Passive Tesla Coils.

Ansuz Active Cable Tesla Coil technology (AC-TC)
This is an active noise suppressing element that rely on Mains spike noise cancellation. The way they work is to have a double inverted coil connected to the power conductors, when the AC-TC dual coil encounters a voltage spike a counter spike is developed in the counter wound section of the AC-TC coil. As Noise spikes are pure voltage and carries virtually no charge, the cancellation is quite good, but not 100%. By adding more AC-TC coils in parallel the performance increases. And with that the perceived Blackness in the music improves significantly. So, AC-TC is similar to A-TC. But where the A-TC technology is mounted on the circuitry boards the AC-TC coils are mounted directly around the mains conductors to increase the effect even further.


Ansuz Active Square Tesla Coil technology (AS-TC)
This is an active noise suppressing element that rely on spike noise cancellation. The way they work is to have a double inverted coil connected to the power conductors, when the AS-TC dual coil encounters a voltage spike a counter spike is developed in the counter wound section of the AS-TC coil. As Noise spikes are pure voltage and virtually carries no charge, the cancellation is quite good, but not 100%. By adding more AS-TC coils in parallel the performance increases. And with that the perceived Blackness in the music improves significantly So, AS-TC is similar to A-TC. But where the A-TC technology is mounted on the circuitry boards the AS-TC coils are imbedded in the circuitry board itself. They are not as efficient as the top mounted coils, but they are very compact and more cost efficient.


Ansuz Analog Dither Technology (AD)
