AURALiC VEGA G2.2 Streaming DAC streaming decoding
AURALiC G2.2 both use AURALiC's new Tesla G3 streaming media platform, which adopts a 64bit architecture, making its processing power 8 times that of the previous generation. The memory capacity is also increased to 4 GB, and uses Direct Memory Access Technology (DMA) to integrate into in the system. These improvements are designed in such a way that all audio-related circuitry is connected directly to the system memory, resulting in a significant 90% reduction in latency and jitter compared to its predecessor
In an important step for the company, the G2.2 and G3 products are designed in the United States, and the ARIES G3 and VEGA G3 will be hand-made at AURALiC's Oregon facility. AURALiC is pleased to announce its future collaboration with Dirac. This partnership will allow AURALiC to integrate Dirac's advanced technologies, which will help ensure products remain at the forefront of innovation and deliver the highest quality audio experience.
ARIES G2.2 and G3 have undergone a complete internal redesign, and 90% of the electronic components are new. These cutting-edge products feature a number of new technologies that take their performance to the next level, all packaged in AURALiC's elegant UnityChassis II housing.
New USB electrical isolation
ARIES G2's introduction of electrical isolation technology on the USB port is a major breakthrough in the sound quality of digital audio systems. Building on this success, AURALIC is proud to introduce the second generation of Galvanic USB in ARIES G2.2 and G3. This new isolator improves DAC compatibility and functions the same as a regular USB port that supports hot swapping. The signal quality and jitter performance of the second generation Galvanic USB are further optimized, and the sound quality is significantly improved. In addition, users can now choose to enable or disable the USB port to power the DAC via software, ensuring a cleaner signal path
New Purer-Power power supply design
ARIES G2.2 and G3 feature Purer-Power low-noise power supplies with twice the capacity of previous versions, a lower-noise design, processing platform and music storage options. All digital audio-related circuitry, including the Galvanic USB, has its own independent power supply, maintaining extremely low noise levels of only 0.8 microvolts - 80% less noise than the G2.1 model. In addition, computing circuits that are less sensitive to noise benefit from a low-noise power supply of only 27 microvolts, which is 50 times that of G2.1. The power supply is stable and free of noise and interference, bringing an excellent audio listening experience.
NVMe internal storage
With the new Tesla G3 processing platform, ARIES G2.2 and G3 have upgraded their internal storage from traditional SATA-based SSD or HDD to the most advanced NVMe SSD storage option. Including excellent data transfer speed and reliability, ensuring a seamless experience of storing and playing digital music. Thanks to Direct Memory Access (DMA) technology, NVMe storage offers faster transfer speeds and lower latency than traditional storage options, resulting in improved performance and faster access to stored music. Compared to the G2.1 model, the ARIES G2.2 G3 now offers 10x faster copy speeds when transferring music from Ethernet to internal storage. ARIES G2.2 and G3 both have the option of factory-installed 4TB NVMe storage
USB 3.0 external storage
ARIES G2.2 and G3 add a USB 3.0 external storage port, which significantly increases copy speed and facilitates the easy transfer of high-resolution audio files. The USB 3.0 port provides 1.5 amps of power, three times the power capacity of G2.1. The increased power capacity also allows for a wider range of external storage options, including larger capacity drives that may require more power
Support LEO GX.1
For the most discerning listeners, ARIES G2.2 and ARIES G3 can now be connected via Lightning Link to our LEO GX.1 reference master clock, allowing for a new level of accuracy and improved digital output sound quality
