The Opticon 6's hybrid tweeter module features a 17×45 mm aluminum ribbon super tweeter and a 28 mm soft dome tweeter, capable of handling a wide frequency range from 2.2 kHz to 32 kHz. Furthermore, the ribbon super tweeter provides a smoother and wider horizontal dispersion angle, offering a more comprehensive performance than a single dome tweeter. SMC stands for Soft Magnetic Compound, a soft magnetic composite particle material that can be directly shaped into a T-piece, providing high magnetic permeability and low electromagnetic effects, thereby reducing distortion and coloration. Besides the Opticon 6's mid-bass driver, which uses SMC technology, the entire Opticon series extensively utilizes SMC.
