The DSC mini is Metronome's latest DAC, continuing the spacious and high-resolution sound signature of the Classicica series, but with a smaller size, making it an ideal match for Metronome's own DSS2 streamer!
The DSS2 is a previously announced digital transport, and like the Le Streamer, it's a digital transport with meticulous power handling and digital signal processing. It delivers the best experience through Metronome's own DAC. Metronome, known for its high-end products, has heard the feedback and released a more affordable option compared to its other series, making it a more accessible choice for those who appreciate Metronome's spacious and high-resolution sound.
In its Digital Sharing series, Metronome introduced the DSC mini, a music converter designed specifically for use with the DSS 2.
The DSC mini receives native I2S signals from the DSS 2, perfectly converting various music file formats and supporting a maximum DSD256 resolution.
The DSC mini's casing is made of steel, while the front panel is made of sturdy aluminum, and it is available in black and silver finishes.
