SCM7 is a classic model of ATC’s “Entry Series” bookshelf speakers, a product that has been recognized by the market for more than 20 years!
V3's new version of SCM7 adopts a new front baffle in appearance, a re-improved internal cabinet, a new model of tweeter unit, a redesigned mid-bass unit and a new crossover configuration, among other upgrades.

The SCM7 V3 tweeter is equipped with ATC's newly developed SH25-76 soft dome. This tweeter is completely designed and manufactured by ATC. It uses a unique double suspension system to allow the voice coil system with connected sound film to be stable in the narrow magnetic gap. The front and back piston movement can effectively suppress the "swaying" problem of the sound film even under high power output conditions. The tweeter's magnetic circuit uses a 15,000 Gauss strong magnetic neodymium magnet, and is equipped with a set of specially designed black top plates that have been heat-treated to increase driving performance and good heat dissipation capabilities, and can maintain high power handling capabilities and low power compression.
The mid/bass driver of ATC's new version of SCM7 is also a redesigned and improved model, among which SCM7 is ATC's 125mm mid-bass. The crossover also adopts a newly upgraded design, including the use of customized metallized polypropylene capacitors, large air inductors, ceramic resistors, etc., to effectively improve performance. The interior of the cabinet adopts a new design, the curved shell has better acoustic characteristics, and the internal reinforced support design has higher rigidity and damping.
