Yamaha's flagship 3D sound field technology is created by combining measured sound field data with digital signal processing. The improved CINEMA DSP HD3 features new signal processing algorithms and drastically improves cinema sound effects, accurately reproducing a new dimension of sound field realism with rich presence and borderless sense. By using front, center and surround speakers to create rear virtual speakers, CINEMA DSP HD3 can play up to 11.1 channels* even when using a 7.1 channel speaker configuration.

Redesigned fifth foot position
The representative fifth pin that guarantees high-quality sound quality has been scientifically redesigned to meet the changes in the position of the transformer and in order to meet higher earthquake resistance requirements. Moving to the front of the amplifier to a better position reduces the vibration of the chassis to an almost unmeasurable value, making the sound imaging more realistic and the sense of low-frequency control enhanced. SCENE function key, with preset song and radio functions
There are four SCENE function keys in total. You can preset these to different output and sound field programs, Music Enhancer, HDMI output and other options. Inputs can be set to specific sources, such as FM or Internet radio stations, stations from a streaming service, USB devices, or any song stored on a PC or NAS (network hard drive). After setting the function keys, simply press the main unit or remote control to turn on the amplifier and listen to the music you want. This function can be reset at any time.
